Accessing New Dimensions
Ephesians 3:20
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…" (NKJV)
Message
God is not static in His dealings with His people; He is always calling them into higher levels of revelation, grace, faith, and impact. "Accessing new dimensions" speaks of moving beyond spiritual stagnation into greater depths of God's presence and purpose.
Ephesians 3:20 reveals that God is able to do "exceedingly abundantly above" what we ask or think. This suggests that there are dimensions in God beyond human imagination. However, accessing these dimensions requires alignment with His power and purpose working within us.
One key to entering new dimensions is hunger for God. Matthew 5:6 says, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." Spiritual hunger positions the heart for expansion. Those satisfied with yesterday's experience often miss today's revelation.
Another key is faith. Hebrews 11:6 declares that without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is the bridge between the natural and the supernatural. Abraham stepped into a new dimension when he believed God's promise beyond physical limitations (Romans 4:20-21).
Obedience is also essential. New dimensions often require leaving familiar territory. Abraham was called to leave his country before stepping into his destiny (Genesis 12:1-4). Obedience unlocks unseen realms of blessing and purpose.
Prayer and intimacy with God are vital systems for access. Moses entered deeper dimensions of God's glory through sustained fellowship on the mountain (Exodus 33:11-18). The secret place is where transformation and revelation occur.
The renewal of the mind is another pathway. Romans 12:2 teaches that transformation comes through renewed thinking. Limited thinking restricts access to higher spiritual realities. A renewed mind begins to perceive God's possibilities instead of human limitations.
Letting go of the past is also necessary. Isaiah 43:18-19 says God is doing a new thing, requiring us not to dwell on former things. Holding onto old seasons can prevent entry into new ones. Growth requires release.
Spiritual discipline strengthens capacity for new dimensions. Just as physical growth requires exercise, spiritual growth requires consistency in prayer, study of the Word, and obedience. Paul pressed forward because he refused stagnation (Philippians 3:13-14).
God's presence is the ultimate gateway into new dimensions. In His presence, limitations are broken and revelation increases. "In Your presence is fullness of joy" (Psalm 16:11). Every new level begins with deeper communion with God.
Today, God is calling you higher. Do not remain at the level of yesterday's experiences. There is more in God to discover, more grace to walk in, and more purpose to fulfill.
Step into deeper faith.
Pursue greater intimacy.
Embrace God's higher calling.
New dimensions are available for those who seek Him.
